Lincoln Summer Training Camp Update

The Lincoln High School Boys Basketball team took to the court June 2 for a quick three games at Ankeny Centennial to start the June season. Without a true practice or prep time, the Railsplitters picked up a win at Johnston after falling to Centennial and West Des Moines Valley.

The next day the Railsplitters were back at it with a full regiment of agility workouts, weight training as well as the daily two-hour practice. On top of that, the Lincoln High School team was busy helping with the annual youth camp that was taking place in the Roundhouse.

Now with a full week of work under their belts, the Lincoln High School basketball players are ready for a test in Indianola at the Simpson Team Camp. Each week, the coaching staff will select a varsity and JV group. During the week, the Rails will have a freshmen and sophomore team playing at Urbandale High School on Monday nights and a varsity group that plays Tuesday nights.
